Team Relief originated when Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast on August 29, 2005. After sending over 600 volunteers on 8 trips to Long Beach Mississippi, Team Relief developed into much more when the December 2007 ice storm ravaged Tulsa. Joining forces with Tulsa Mayor Kathy Taylor, Team Relief rallied over 600 volunteers for several weeks to help the devastated Tulsa area. We will continue to bring hope and encouragement to individuals who have been distressed through natural disasters or tragic circumstances.
