We are here on purpose, for purpose.

In this world you will have tribulation.

Wow, this pretty much sums up the disturbing news we deal with every day.

Most of you know are aware of the follow up phrase to this, be of good cheer, I've overcome the world. This is how Jesus leads us through all we deal with.

The news of the world is pretty rough to say the least. But, the news of the Kingdom is great. There is so much promise and potential for victory in the Gospel (good news), so that is where we really need to spend our time and effort.

Three basic questions:

1. What worries you?

2. What has been promised?

3. How do you activate the promises?

The world is an unstable place to live. But, if the purpose of God is our aim, it makes perfect sense. We are here on purpose, for purpose. God's Hand is on our lives directing us to and through His Will.

His Will is effectively to be in lock step with His Son and to avail our lives so that He can do it through us.

Jesus is the answer to all of the world's issues. The Jesus in you can help people who are losing or have lost hope. When we are the confident, caring people God has made us to be, all things work for the good.

So, the good news is that the world's news is regularly bad and has no bearing on the promise of God in your life. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Go do something cool for somebody else today.

Stay strong,

Pastor Bill
