In Honor of My Mother

Photo_11_
October was a very busy month with the Nightmare and it was a huge success. Thank you to everyone that gave their time, finances and prayers to this amazing ministry. There were 11,480 people that prayed for salvation after going through the Nightmare. They filled out cards declaring their decisions. Very powerful month!

My mother, Jane Magruder, passed away on October 21st. She loved the Lord with all of her heart so I am at peace with where she is. She was the greatest example of a servant. She lived her life to serve others and to be an example of what being a Christian is really about. She was uncomfortable with notoriety, always preferring others and never meeting a stranger. She was a true Southern lady that could cook delicious meals with little effort. She was an amazing pianist that loved playing for anyone that would listen. She loved her family and friends so much. She had a gift for making everyone in the room feel special and feeling like they were her best friend. She was truly the Proverbs 31 woman to me. The bible says that her children will rise up and call her blessed. I call my mom blessed.

I hope I grow up to be like my mom one day,
Pastor Sandy
