I'm writing this in the back of a bus in Port au Prince Haiti.
Even with all the news coverage we've seen and the outpouring of support into the situation brought upon by the recent earthquake, it was hard to have been prepared for this.
This tragedy is beyond comprehension, I thank God I'm travelling with the pastors who are on this trip. We are setting a strategy to help bring the hope of the ministry of reconciliation along with supplying food, water, medical and building supplies.
Which brings me to comment on the tremendous victory we live and function in with Jesus. I'm very grateful for the well of hope that we draw from in God's promise of life.
Jesus is real and His promise to give life is just as real today as it ever was, especially in Haiti. I'm believing for a wholesale change in the culture of this country.
We are about to make a bigtime difference in the lives of so many with little to no hope.
Stay strong,
Bill Scheer
