There's a men's only event at Guts Church this Sunday for Super Bowl XXVIIIITLCMD.
This is a great time for us to get together eating man-food with our hands, getting sauce on the front of our shirts, not having to worry about putting the toilet seat down, producing the occasional belch after a big hit of root beer, or hollering for the big hits we expect from the NFL.
With all that, we will also have time to come together as men of a local church that is geared for men to flourish in life and overcome whatever obstacles we face.
The kickoff is at 5:30 or so, food will be served from 5:00 on. Call your friends, line up the Tums, and come to this relaxing fun-filled night of total guy stuff.
For real, it will be worth it to get to watch Eric English (who is in his pre-game right now) and his beloved Colts. This is a guy that owns an exact replica of Peyton Manning's favorite neck tie, has memorized Dwight Freeney's grades from the 3rd grade, and knows the exact mileage on Dallas Clark's Dodge Caravan.
It'll be fun and I'm really looking forward to it, I hope you can make it.
