it is Tuesday mid day.
We arrived at La Gonave at 7am for unloading and were greeted by hundreds of people and trucks from all over the island which had been arranged for distribution.
We began unloading cargo to shouts of joy, however the Haitian Deligate did not have customs papers finalized for La gonave to clear the goods.

We had to take the Island Express to Port au Prince for customs clearance. Currently we are in the harbor anchored next to the American destroyer and floating hospital.
Once the port authority boards our vessel and documents are exchanged, we will head back to La Gonave to finalize the unload.
You can see the mass of destruction in port au prince very clearly from the harbor. I can't imagine what living in this hell would be like. Although the news reporters are moving onto other stories, Haiti is left to deal with its scars and rebuild from this disaster.
