AJ Here. I just wanted to give you the "up and comings" on Sub30 events. Spring Break is going to be awesome with the Sub30 ski trip, but when we come back we are hitting the ground running. Services kick back up on March 22nd, but we are putting a real precedence on March 29th.
That Monday, we are implementing something we call SERVOLUTION. Basically, it is the church getting out in the community and just serving. We get a couple hundred Sub30 folk; slap on some red shirts; and take the community into our own hands. This is a great way to show that we are here for both the city of Norman and OU by just giving them a hand. So be prepared for March 29th because Sub30 is on the streets spreading love and helps to our local community.
That same day we are having service, of course, but we are going to throw down the gauntlet with a food fight. Yeah, I thought they were kidding; you probably think I'm kidding; but guess what, I'm not kidding. If you want a team, wear a uniform. If you fly solo, bring your A-game. If you just want to come and throw oatmeal at people, then do that. March 29th is going to be a great day in history.
With all of that being said...it is needless to say that I am excited to blog all of this. Servolution, food fights, a full worship service coming soon...what is there not to love about the future of Sub30?
