Guts Girls Recovery

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.  

Ephesians 2:10

Have you suffered from wounds in your past as a result of abortion, addiction, or abuse by someone you trusted?   Maybe it was a family member or authority figure or maybe it was self-inflicted.  

When you hear the words, “God has a plan for you” or when you read the scripture from Ephesians, can you relate them to your life?  Or are you struggling to believe that they actually apply to you?  

Do you feel stuck on a path where you never really overcome? Do you keep going around and around the same issues, dealing with the same battles day after day with no true breakthrough?

Do you seem okay on the surface, but are secretly plagued with feelings of insecurity, insignificance and shame? Maybe you feel like you have dealt with your wounds from the past, but you still don't feel "right", especially deep in your soul.

Do these feelings keep you from experiencing joy in your relationships with your spouse, your children, your family or even God?

DO YOU FEEL LOST?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, you are not experiencing God’s plan for your life. He has a plan for you to live a life of freedom, peace and confidence. 

Isaiah 61:3-4 says that God will give us:

……beauty for ashes, 
The oil of joy for mourning, 
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; 
That they may be called trees of righteousness, 
The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” 

This class will give you the tools you need to operate in God’s best and to be healed from the wounds of your past.  This 8-week program for women is held in a confidential, caring environment, led by Spirit-filled leaders who know firsthand the struggles that accompany these wounds and who have also experienced the freedom that comes when God’s Word is applied to their lives.   Allow Him through this class to take you out of the ashes and into your rightful place as a daughter of the King; that place where you are “whole, complete and lacking nothing”. 

WHO:   All current members of Guts Church who are 21 and older. 

WHEN:  Tuesday, January 22nd
